Local know-how - Melton Mowbray?

Hi everyone!

I am involved with a youth club who will be camping out in Melton Mowbray for a week or so in August. I am trying to find activities that would keep them entertained, and wondered if anyone local had any ideas for activities, people to bring in, places to go etc. I'd really appreciate any info, particularly regarding the activities that other youth groups have found in the area.

Seriously, any info whatsoever would be SO VERY MUCH appreciated!!!

How far afield can you go and what ages groups?
I don't know Melton well enough to help but
(1) can ask around and (2) could advise about Loughborough if that helps.
