i put my eldest on the school bus every morning, nothing unusual there but the driver that now drives the bus is 69 years old!!! her head shakes and she has no patience at all with the children. should O.A.P's be driving our children to school?? i know all about cut backs in funding but really. i have followed and seen how some " not all " drivers of school buses drive, and its not good. i dont want the phone call saying the poor women driving the bus had a heart attack and ......you can imagine the rest. is it just me being silly or is it a safety risk????

School buses are a nightmare! My sons bus was always overloaded, the public got on there too, there was bad behaviour, bullying, all whilst the driver manoeuvred his way along the A12! I took him off in the end and he is driven to school now. I would be contacting the bus company, the school and the LEA. You don't have to be rude, it is slightly sensitive, the poor dear is probably making ends meet, but you can express your concern!

FWIW, most of the 69yolds I know shouldn't be in charge of a mobility scooter, let alone a bus full of trouble kids!
