Hi, I represent the Lewisham Free School Group. We are working with outstanding London head teachers to set up a high quality new primary school in Deptford - our preferred choice is in Blackhorse Road. The school will:
- Be open to all (local authority admissions policy)
- Be based on what works in outstanding London primary schools - more than 85% of children achieving the national level in English and maths
- Have a culture that values learning, aspiration and achievement
- Offer a broad curriculum with a wide range of sports, art and music.
To get the Government to invest in our new school for primary age kids in Deptford we need the support of local parents. A number of shops, day care centres and other community buildings are displaying our posters and have copies of a short survey we really need parents to complete to register interest in the school.
