Anyone seen the football style memorial things at Whiteinch on Dumbarton road? Just wondering if anyone knew who it was for? Its been up and stayed up for a while, was expectingit to be trashed! Saw some teens there other night with candles lit. :(

One of the local young boys about 16 died. Not sure of cause of death but he had a brain injury following a RTA a few years ago. His family are local to Whiteinch and well liked/well connectedWink

His mum lies just round the corner from the tunnel exit. The tops etc were removed after the funeral.

Thanks for that. Defiently thought well liked if stayed up. Usually around here if things aren't nailed down they go! So thats a real ign of how well liked/respected

doe,s anybody remember,maggie austin,from the ham close in medwyn st in the fiftys ,moved to drumchapel.also the morrisons,her sister,love to hear from them or family myself and my brother stayed with davy and maggie for a while cheers.

erm only been in Shite whiteinch for 14 years but I'm sure my neighbour will know, she knows everyone. The streets are all of a sudden covered in dog shit.

giggly did you know the family where the daughter murdered the Mum? They were my neighbours then moved to whiteinch.
