Winchester area baby groups?

Hi,
We are new to the area (village just outside winchester) I have a 14 month old and would really like to find some nice groups to take him to. Any suggestions? I am also keen to make friends at the same time.
I also have a 3 year old at pre-school in winchester.

Hi, im down in eastleigh and there is loads of sure start centres here. try looking on there website for winchester centres. through the years i found sure start to be the most friendly. hth.

Hi Nellie it depends on what villiage you have moved too, i live in alresford and there isnt much so i travel to different places

Hi Nellie, found this a bit late, we're in Twyford. I have 22mo DS, there are loads of nice groups and things round here and in town.

You probably know all about these by now but just in case...

Lanterns on Bereweeke road in town - Mon and Fri ams
Brambridge garden centre has a cafe with a play area (indoors and out)
Marwell Zoo (also has a soft play)
Twyford Tots toddler group (Weds 10am-12am termtime)
Library Rhyme time Thursday mornings
Toddler Sense is brilliant

Wildflowers Kindergartens have a mother and baby group at 10am on Mondays in Kilmeston. I guess its a bit late though?!
