Any builder recommendations for an extension?

Title says it all really, have finally agreed with DH we need more room so we're going to extend into the side return. Our friend's who've recently had work wouldn't recommend their builders or had loft specialists who were great but won't do what we want! Anyone know a good builder?

Try Propelec. It is a family firm based in Sussex.
They are electricians primarily but I think they carry out extensions as they have builders, plumbers etc working alongside them. They are well priced and reliable. I've used them for electrical work on my property and was very pleased and would highly recommend them.
