Fishergate

Hi-hoping to relocate in the next couple of months and may have found a property on melbourne st; can anyone tell me what the street is like- any families/students and anyone go to fishergate primary-if so what's it like?

Quite a high student population around that area. I really like Fishergate Primary as a school, its more diverse than most York primaries because the kids from the army base at Fulford attend. There do tend to be more kids coming and going because of that though.

Nice area - close to the river, close to town. I'd be happy there!

No problem, and yes, I would think its quite likely you would get places fairly quickly. It is a lovely school, in my opinion. All the best with the move.
