Slightly petrified 1st timer seeks help and wise tips / meet ups!

Hi everyone
I am new both here and to the general motherhood concept, and hoping to get to know some local friends as my immediate circle of friends have no kids, so as I am 26 weeks pregnant it'd be nice to get to know other mums or mum-to-be's...
I am in Portslade but often in Hove and Brighton, so please say hello on here and let me know what I am in for over the next 15 weeks - your most prized tips, fun stuff, ideas, bad stuff - hold nothing back! It's a prime opportunity to educate a total virgin newbie...! I'm around evenings and weekends for meet ups too, if anyone fancies a chinwag.
