The Papworth Trust is a leading disability charity with over 90 years? experience of championing equality, providing choice and promoting independence.
We are supporting young disabled people to form and create their own youth clubs; and are therefore looking for volunteers who can support weekend and holiday activities.
Volunteers
Hours:
Saturdays in term time, 9.30am-12.30pm (Kettering and Wellingborough) and/or 1.30pm-4.30pm (Corby and Oundle).
And Holiday clubs, 10-3pm on Tuesdays (Wellingborough), Wednesdays (Kettering), Thursdays (Oundle) and/or Fridays (Corby).
Location:
Lodge Park Sports Centre, Corby.
Swanspool Pavilion, Wellingborough.
Joan Strong Centre and Queen Victoria Hall, Oundle.
North Park Pavilion and Melton Community Centre, Kettering.
The role of the volunteer will be to support the development of bright ideas and to actively support and encourage young people to turn these ideas into fun activities. You will have great communication skills and a belief that young people?s voices need to be heard and actioned. An enhanced CRB check is required for this role.
