I hope this isn't against mumsnet rules...

I am not a childminder or nanny (although I worked as a nursery nurse and nanny years ago). I am the mother of a wonderful little 6 month old girl. I will be going back to work part time at the end of June and I have not been able to find a childminder who will work the 2 Saturdays and 1-2 Fridays I need covered per month. I thought it might be an idea to find another mother looking for childcare on opposite days to me and we could care for each other?s children, save some money and offer more personal care to the kids. FYI- I have 2 very good cats but if you or your child has an allergy it would not work.
I would be free to watch your child all day tues and thurs. (pos weds as well, still waiting for confrimation from work)
I would be looking for you to watch my daughter from around noon till 6:30 2 saturdays and 1-2 fridays per month.

If you are interested, please PM me and we can see how and if this would work.

I have no idea if it is against the rules or not.

One of my friends managed to find a Mother's Help on Gumtree.

Good luck with your search. x

Thanks, i need all the luck I can get!
I posted this on gumtree too. Just like the idea of mums helping eachother out rather than paying for childcare.
Dont think its against the rules since its not an advert per se, no money changing hands. Hope not anyway.
