Local Groups to get together...

I re-located to North West with my job in August 2010 and have just started my maternity leave (due June 1st). I was wondering if there are any local "mum groups" out there that I could join? Or if anyone would like to get in touch with me to set one up? :)

The children's centres have loads going on and often do new mums sessions. Personally I also like the grace centre (weds 10-1130) and the St peter's church group (tues 10-1130). They're in the heaton/halliwell area.

Which area are you in? It would help in recommending groups :-)
