South Side nurseries

Has anyone got any recommendations for South Side nurseries in Shawlands/Battlefield/Mount Florida/Cathcart area? Any particularly good, or any to definitely avoid? Have read the Care Commission reports but keen to get feedback from parents rather than just read the reports and visit.

I know quite a few people who use Heritage House on Albert Drive in Pollokshields (slighlty outside the area you have defined) who seem to be happy with it.

I used to work in Heritage House and would not recommend, sorry

I know a few people who send their kids to the nursery on Sinclair drive in battlefield They all seem pretty happy. One dad I know raves about the place as they were fabulous with his ds following his wife death The nursery on Hector road in shawlands (pied piper?) is apparently full of kids of doctors and lawyers :) and has a good name

Thanks for that feedback. Considering Sinclair Drive. Went to Pied Piper but it is quite a bit more expensive than the others. Most are around £40 per day but I think Pied Piper is about £47. It did seem nice though, in spite of it looking as though it could do with a lick of paint.
