Moving to Stoke Bishop

Hi

we're a family of 4 currently in the process of buying a house in Stoke Bishop. I have a ds who is in y1 and dd who will go to reception in Sept. Obviously we can't apply for school places until we exchange contracts but does anyone know what the LEA are likely to do with us given the situation with schools in the area being over-subscribed. Our closest school will be Elmlea.

We did go and meet some lovely welcoming people in Parry's Close who were having a Royal Wedding Street Party. We then went and had a picnic in Canford Park, I like the new kiosk and so had to sample some of their rather nice ice creams.

I look forward to meeting up with you both once we move in after the 24th and I will definately take up your offer of a coffee. I'm back to work next week and so will not get much chance to post until after we move. Good luck with the move stmatt and if you do find some good tradesmen please let me know.
