moving to colchester -help with schools please

Hello all,
I am planning to move to colchester in August to start a new job.I searched for schools on the net for my 6yr old DD and came across Oxford junior and St mary's. I would like to hear from anyone whose kids attend either of these schools or who knows these schools.

Oxford House? I've a friend who's daughter is there, she is 3 and a half, so she's at the nursery school bit.

Nasty school run to Oxford house. You cop the Lexden road traffic and there is nowhere to park and you can't be late...its social suicide

Lovely uniform though. Pink tie. Just gawjus. Scary school gate mums, loads of Botox. One of them even lives in a castle in St Osyth.

St Marys - nice school, keeps them as little girls as long as possible, not as full-on as Oxford house, nice enough crowd from what I've heard but its been a while (5 years or so) since I've known someone with a child there.
