Even though I live on the Southside, I go all the way to Balfron for my Pilates class Shock

When I started (c.11 years ago), there were only two instructors in the Glasgow area: the one in the centre of Glasgow was full, so I started going to a class in Killearn (now moved to Balfron). It wasn't too much of a hassle, as my mum lived on the Northside and she and I went together.

She is a very good instructor, which is why I have stayed with her :). She's trained more though (I thing there was one who was planning on starting up out Houston way) - I could ask her tonight if she knows of any more local ones.

Try this list of teachers in Scotland.

Looking at the list, I've probably had sessions from a fair proportion of the people on there, as I recognise many of the names, so they probably did their training sessions under Louise's supervision (at one point - don't know if it still the case, Louise was one of the few people "qualified" in Scotland to supervise the trainees as they did the practicals required before becoming certified).

I would try Rhona at Otage Street (Glasgow & West End): I know it is North sdie - but not too far). Louise does a couple of classes at the studio there (on a Tusday morning IIRC) and I would really recommend her - but Rhona is good too (I am sure I can remember her training sessions) - but isnormally based out in Balfron/Stirling. She also does a class in Bearsden.
