Where do you park for Castle Park?

I live just outside Colchester and when I've taken DS to Castle Park before, it's because we've been in town and walked down to the park.

But where's the best place to park (closest and/or cheapest) if we're just going to the park?

Also, does anyone know where I can get a map of the whole park, if such a thing exists?!

Queens Road is not bad, a bit cheaper than some others. There is a car park near just before Greyfriars that used to be £5 per day (haven't been there for a while). The Tourist place opposite the main gates might have a map

I park in the Leisure Centre carpark. Then its just a short walk through the park up to the playpark.
