Lambeth planning permission - how long to be granted?

Next door are planning to change a house into two flats.....how long does Lambeth take to grant planning permission? We're just had the letter through asking if we have any objections etc.

I'm trying to work out if they are going to be banging all summer!

Hi there, it normally takes 6 weeks to hear back from planning but they may need to apply again if permission isn't granted - so another 6 weeks to hear again iyswim. Even when they have planning it may take them a little while to actually get the work started, as I understand it getting planning is the first step really.
