Hi there
I'm due to have my second baby any day now. I have a 2yr old son as well. I wondered if there are any other mums in the Streatham Hill area who fancy meeting up in the next few months for coffee or play dates?

I have a 2 month old and would love to meet up. Any suggestions for dates? Venues? There is Perfwct Blend and Earl Rose and Gray?

poopy7 · 09/05/2011 15:31

Hi Principle and Mrs TH - would either or both of you fancy meeting up tomorrow (Tues 10th)? I'll be with my 6 week old as my toddler will be at nursery, so should be fairly straightforward.
If not, how about Thurs afternoon?
Earl Grey & Rose would be great if that's easy for you.

Hi all,
I'm due tomorrow with baby no.2 and have a 20 month old in nursery. I live up the road from Earl Grey & Rose/PB and would love to meet up next week or once I've had the baby.
Are you around Monday morning or any time on Tuesday?

poopy7 · 12/05/2011 18:23

You're due tomorrow! Are you sure you want to make plans for next week? I could meet up on Tues afternoon, so why don't you post again just before to let us know whether you're still hanging on. Would be great to meet up if so.

I have a 2 year old son too and might be up for a playdate on a Wednesday in future - I'm near Streatham Common.

Best wishes for birth of no.2!

Hi Poopy,

I'd love to meet up... Shall we say EG&R on Thursday afternoon? Would 1pm be ok? I can do Friday is that's better and I have no plans so anytime is fine with me.

Look forward to meeting you,
Carla

hi poopy,

I'm really sorry but i won't be able to make it this afternoon... had a rotten night and feeling rubbish and need to sleep when I can today.
Sorry for late notice. Hopefully we acn reschedule?

No probs, I know what it's like. I have a sick toddler anyway so was thinking it might be a bit mean to take him out. Do you want to give me your email address and we can communicate directly. Don't think you can do private messages on here can you?

Hi all,
Just to say I go to a couple of groups and there seem to be a lot of mums who have toddlers and newborns at the moment!
The best is monday mornings- at English Martyrs church 10-12.

Hope that helps as I know having coffee with toddlers in tow can be way too stressful!! Plus groups like this mean mums can chat too!

Hi,
I have a nearly 7 month old girl - are any of you still available/willing for meet ups?

Streatma · 16/11/2011 19:19

Hi, I live in Streatham village and have a 4 year old and trying for number 2. I recently held a party for her birthday at a community orientated pub on the high road called the White Lion, it has decent coffee, toys for the kids, loads of herbal teas and I was talking to the owner and he was saying they are hoping to start up kids club in the new year and maybe mother and child film screenings.

The best part about this place is it's run by a charity called Music4children and they offer free workshops for local kids to get them off the street. Other community groups meet there for free so maybe we should start one? Would anyone be interested in setting something up?
