Hi, I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a nanny/ know of a nanny share in N16. I am looking for someone to look after my 11 month old girl and 3 year old boy on Wednesday and Thursday, my 3 year old attends school nursery until 11.45am. The position would be term time only and starting asap from March 2011. If anyone could recommend someone I'd be really grateful. Many thanks

Hi, I haven't got a helpful recommendation but I might be interested in thinking about a nanny share. I am just about to lose all my childcare Sad and am looking at all options. Our kids are similar ages- my son about to turn 3 and my daughter 18 months. I am also looking for a Wednesday and Thursday, (also monday afternoons) I am in E8, but thinking of sending my son for day/short days at Grasshoppers nursery if I can find someone to drop him off/collect on Monday or Thurs... Any thoughts?

I guess a nanny share wouldn't work though if you need wed and thurs too? Or was it just a Monday and Thursday pick up that you needed?

oh. My understanding was different- that someone would take care of all the kids together, in either of the families homes where needed, and in this case maybe accommodate the elder children's nursery pick ups etc. I thought this might work as the boys would have some time away- so wouldn't be all 4 kids all the time. I am new to the concept though so may well be confused...!

Oh sorry haven't checked this for a while and yes you're right the nanny accomodates all the children in one home. As you can tell, I'm a but new to this too!

I've just thought my hours might be tricky as I need are 8.30am to 4.30pm? Term time only. Let me know what you think?
