Hi All! I'm a new mum with my boy born the 10th of December. I'm pretty lonely as new in the area, wondering if there's anyone out there with a baby similar age as mine-would be lovely to chat!

Hi, sorry my kids are both a bit older. Have you tried the library in Lewisham on Tues am (I think) for their baby song and rhyme session? I know he's a bit little, but it might help you to get to know people on a nod and smile basis and you could take it from there.
There are a lot of listings for baby groups on netmums. You could also join the NCT and go to their meet ups. I found my NCT friends a god send when I was a new mum.

Hi
The church hall on Theodore road has a friendly baby group on Monday mornings from 9.30 (It may also run on Weds mornings too). Not too busy and friendly people.

Hi

Yes the NCT has volunteers in the Lee & Hither Green area who would be more than happy to welcome any new parents along.

See

www.nct.org.uk/in-your-area/lewisham/connect-with-others/lee

There are some lists of local activities at the bottom of this page.

The new parent supporter is Sarah and she has organised some open houses and cafe meet-ups. You can contact her on [email protected]

You don't have to be an NCT member, our events are open to everyone (although it you did feel like joining I can highly recommend it Wink nctpregnancyandbabycare.com/support-us/join

We have submitted a proposal to Lewisham Council as part of their closure of 4 libraries.

We are looking for anyone in the Community to be part of the transformation.

There is a Public meeting held 12 April Catford Civic Centre 4pm - 8pm
