days out in and around?

Can anyone recommend a day out for the whole family in and around Cheltenham with in 45 mins ish drive.

Cattle country in Berkley? Probably about your maximum travel time, but my DS (right up to young teens) definitely think it is worth it.

Bourton is OK, with Birdland, model trains, a maze and stuff. And tat shops and ice cream!

Slimbridge Wildlife Trust. We went there during the half term holidays. It was so good, we became members! Highly recommend it for a great family day out.

Thank you all! Having been to most of the above and as the choice seems a bit limited we drove an hour and a bit to The West Midlands Safari Park. Was ok.
