Hi, I live in a village called Monk Fryston which is 5/10 minutes outside of Sherburn. I usually have to go into Selby for adult conversation at the Sure Start Centres and I thought I would ask if there was anyone a little closer to me. I don't really know anyone in the village with kids of the same age as mine and many of the mums I met at Sure Start are now back at work (I've chosen not to go back and I am now affectionately called a bum by husband as I don't have an official job!!!!) - there are of course a new round of mums at the centres but my 12 month old only wants to poke his fingers into their babies mouths and nostrils at the moment 
which is not the best opener.
I know that this now sounds like a dating site now, sorry.
