Buses to Jersey Farm

Hi
A very dear friend of mine has been offered a flat on the Jersey Farm Estate. She is disabled, can not drive and would be totally dependant on the S1/S2/S3 bus service.

I've been told by one person that this service is unreliable and am quite concerned. I'd be incredibly grateful for any feedback (good or bad) from anyone who uses this bus as to how reliable it is.

Many thanks

Jude

I use the S2/S3 quite often and they're no better or worse than other bus services during the day. After about 7-8pm it gets a bit less frequent and notably less reliable.

Thanks, Snorbs, do you have any idea how often you've had a bus cancelled ?

TIA

Jude

It's difficult to say. During the day it's rare that I've experienced cancelled buses over the last couple of years except when it's been snowy. Maybe one in 20? And the S2/S3 service is three times an hour so you rarely have to wait that long.

Many thanks - that's put my mind to rest a lot.

Jude
