Buying a house in Wimbledon

Hi, does anybody have any info on Mawson Close, we're thinking of buying a house there. Houses here seem cheaper compared with houses in surrounding areas. I was wondering why.

Hi don't know that area very well at all - you will be paying less because some of the houses around there are ex Local Authority by the looks of things and also it is off a busy road and not quite in the most desirable part of Wimbledon - also although mainline station nearby not so well served by transport links?

I won't buy a property there as it's really not a nice area. As Gazzalw said most of the houses there are ex LA and many of the renters are LA housed. It can also get a bit lively at night as a lot of houses on Whatley Av/Haynt Walk have been converted into flats.
