just seen a poster on AIBU called "milngavie" - are you from there? x

i was born and brought up there :)

i moved to milngavie about 4 years ago but always been pretty close by :)

Wilderness is right lol. If you drive past us the next stop is Northern Ireland!

My Mum and brother are still in Milngavie and I get back every now and again.

ah that's too far for me - milngavie is wilderness-y enough, i need to be close to a city definitely!

trying to find another house/flat to rent in the area but they're so expensive :( looking at the new flats on the old hospital site in bearsden, they're gorgeous :)

I used to rent in Milngavie too, loved living there!

so did any of you go to douglas academy? if so when did you start there? i left early and moved school due to leaving milngavie(long story) anyhoo, i was the 2000 1 year class :)

I went there, started in 1987 and left in 1993.

my little brother is still there and my older brother was 1998 or 1999 start :)

ohhh milngavie and mummyO3, i didn't go to douglas i went to bearsden but started in 1997... may actually know your brothers?!

I'm older than you milngavie : I started at bearsden Academy in 1973 and left in 1978 (wnet to Uni straight from 5th year).

Now live on the South Side , having married a Southsider He was worth it though :) (met him in Miami of all places - and moved back up from England to move in with him.

actually just thinking mummyof3 - my wee sister went to douglas, trying to think what year she started - possibly 2001 or 2002? very strange, small world :)
