New to St Albans & looking for nursery

Hi there,
I am new to the site and about to move to St Albans. I am looking for a nursery place for my son who will be almost two when we move. We don't know anyone in St Albans and it's a bit of a minefield trying to choose the right place. So far I have looked around Little Steps on Lancaster Road, Busy Bees and Home From Home. I wondered if anyone could give me feedback on Little Steps, in particular, because I haven't been able to find any reviews online? I'd also be really grateful if anyone could recommend any other nurseries around the area to the north of the city and near-ish to St Albans station?
Thank you!

I'm a childminder in St Albans. MY experience from listening and talking to parents, Little Steps is lovely, small and one of the best, parents have been very very happy with it. Don't know much about Home from Home other than as an outstanding from Ofsted. My own exerience with Busy Bees and what others have said, keep well away! Good Luck!

Thanks for your response, Indy09. That's really helpful. That's exactly the feeling I got from Little Steps.
Thanks again.
