anyone in bishop auckland????

hi i have just moved to the area with to girls aged 2 and 4, i am looking for some clubs my daughter cd atend thinking maybe dancing, horse riding, brownies etc, but dont know where to start, thought wd be a gd way to meet some new ppl as i am very shy, but the 4 walls are driving me mad lol.
any ideas?????

hi, i live in Shildon,just down the road. not sure what clubs are about for girls as i have a boy aged 7. there is a stagecoach school of dance locally and a horse riding school near crook/howden le wear i think. speak to the children's school because they can probably suggest places or have after school activities to attend, there is also a Sure Start centre in Bishop Auckland and Shildon. Some of the local churches have playgroups also (i know the methodist church in shildon does). There is an indoor soft play area at South Church called Bamboozle (not sure what it is like) and one at Shildon called Playshack (very good).

W found bamboozle on sunday is really good fun sure ur 7 year ols wd enjoy but food for a small family of maily chipy menu came to 23.00 which was bit expensive after admin of 4.00 each

I think Playshack do deals where you can get an entry fee and child meal in the price which is cheaper. we tend not to eat there as it can get pricey. Playshack is not far from Bamboozles if you want directions.
