you could ring north yorkshire county council-education department. i d try northyorks.gov.uk website again.

I'd try ringing the education department - when we moved to York last year they were very helpful (I got in touch with North Yorks, East Yorks and York itself as we weren't sure which area we were going to end up in).

Have found this though. Not sure how helpful it is as it just seems to mention Primary schools that feed into it rather than where you need to live.

GintyMarlow · 07/02/2011 12:42

This on the school's website mentions cluster primary schools as well.

thanks Ginty.
I found the feeder primary school lists, which gives a bit of a clue, but we need to know exactly where the boundary is within Malton/Norton itself. Am going to make DH ring them up.

you want the guide for parents on the york, gov site. it lists all the streets i think.
if not try this no- gives advice on school places
01904 554248
can email it to you if you can't find it.

LawrieMarlow · 09/02/2011 10:27

garden, I think that's only for City of York ones and Malton is in North Yorkshire. I agree the City of York one says exactly where you need to live to be in the catchment.
