Pre-school Mums?

Hi, I would love to meet up with other mums in the Derby/ Amber Valley area.

I'm a little older than most at 39 and I have two pre-school boys, nearly four and 18 months.

I am finding that I spend alot of time stuck at home (this wet and cold weather doesn't help) and feel it would be lovely to make some new friends and get out a bit more.

I'm a slightly older mum too, so I know how you feel! I run a childrens story group in Derby on Thursdays which would be ideal for your children, and give you chance to meet a few other mums. Its very laid back with lots for the children to do, some lovely mums and really good snacks! Grin I used to hate going to groups as I find it hard to chat to strangers, but there's a bit of structure with our group so you don't feel quite as pressured to make conversation the who;le time.We are called Little Readers and we have an ad /info etc on the whats on boards. Come along for a free trial if you fancy - we aren't on tomorrow as its school holidays, but we'll be there next week.
