ive recently moved to the area,and im going insane...since ive had my daughter all i want is to make friends with ppl..im finding it hard as where i live everyone is so clicky..does anyone else have this problem? im so isolated..xx

It is hard to make new friends. I find the same thing.

Where abouts in York are you? How old is your daughter?

Where abouts do you know? I have a 3 year old daughter and would be happy to meet up one day if you like?

Well, welcome to North Yorkshire! Do you just have the one DD?

There were murmurings of a York meet-up in the Spring - mummyberryjuice are you back from SA yet? - so you could get to know loads of people all at once!

Fartblossom hi im not actually in york,but in a village on the outskirts..which makes it even harder to make friends :( i have 4 dughters 18,14,9,and 13 weeks xx id like to meet up have an adult conversation :P

I have DD at secondary school and DS at primary. Perhaps we could have a mini meet up? Can you both get into York itself? If so, how about fixing a date for a coffee - PM me again if you feel like arranging something!

Hi everyone I'm in one of the villages near York and would love to meet up, have posted on the york meet up too.

I have a 3yr old and am pregnant with number two. So am craving a bit of company as new to the area. Been to the toddler group in the village which is great, but missed it this week as Ds was grumpy and unwell :(
