Private Nurseries in East Lothian

Hi everyone, i'm looking for a nursery for my DS at the moment, he's just turned 2, and i'm looking for a nursery, where you can pay by the hour, as i'm only looking for 4-6hrs pw over 2-3 days? And one that doesn't cost the earth for us!!! It's just really to get him some play time and let me do my uni work :)
Any one have any suggestions?

Would a playgroup be a better or another option?
Usually run a few sessions per week but what i remember only 2hr sessions. Would this be enough time for you? I used to sit in a local cafe/libraries and read with my precious 2hours..
Charges are about £4.
Sorry don't know about how private nurseries charge, but they would offer you more flexibility and time.

Thank you, there is one near me which i'm going to give a ring, but i think i have to stay with him at that one, so that's not great! But will call to clarify!!
