'goody gumdrops' closing

such a shame, goody gumdrops is closing. i always found their advice really good and enjoyed shopping there.

it's going to turn into a party venue and workshop space.

i think the owner is a mumsnetter so maybe she'll drop by and tell us more. party venue sounds fun - but expensive?! Smile

I lived in Crouch End for years and never went there. Just too far off The Broadway - sorry GG owner. I thought it was just a toy shop and always went to Soup Dragon.

Thanks for your message bluepapermonkey...we're sad too about the shop...we're planning lots of fun drop in activities for pre-schoolers, plus after school stuff for bigger kids. Lots of info to come soon. also half term workshops and of course parties... Shame you didn't get to visit lovetheskinyourine...we're open this saturday for hairdressing - £10.00 kids haircuts if you mention mumsnet

I went there a couple of times, once to buy a present for a 3 year old boy and there was literally NOTHING that wasn't pink, covered in fairies and very overpriced for what it was.
