We are looking at buying a house in the Bishopston/ St Andrews area. We have a 2 year old so we want to be in a good position for primary school application in the future. When you look at how close to schools you have to be to get in there seem to be lots of houses which fall in between the triangle of Bishop Road, Ashley Down and Sefton Park. Where do they go?? Also, any info on the new primary school at the cricket ground?
First time I have posted anything Wink

The Council website has quite a detailed report. DD is at Ashley Down and we're 750m away. With Bishop Road I think it is around 500m.

The new school is Ashley Down as well but even as a parent, I don't really understand how it works. Also it's a fair way down Ashley Down Road, more St Paul's/Montpelier than Ashley Dwon in my opinion.

Hi Queenofwhatever, I live in Ashley Down, very close to the cricket ground, and have ds down for the nurseries at Sefton Park and Filton, but do you know if the new school at the cricket ground is going to be just a primary or an infants as well? I have heard lots of conflicting information about it.
