New Mum - meet/baby group?

Hi, I have a 7wks old dd. Wondered if anyone else was out there that had found a group suitable for young ones or wanted to meet up occaisionally say at a park in Gidea Park or Romford or something. Realised today after dealing with 3hrs of non stop crying that its been 2mths since I spoke to anyone Im not related to.....

YOu should take a look at local children centres. They have lots of free sessions for little'uns and they are a great way of getting out and meeting other mums.
I have a 4 year old girl and am expecting a boy next month and so will shortly be in the same position as you! I plan to get out and about and meet as many other mums and their children to keep my little ones company.

I am 36 and live near Tooting Bec/Balham. I have a 7 months old girl. I would like to meet a mum who enjoys walking in the park (Tooting Beck common, Wandsworth Common, Clapham, Wimbledon,Battersea park for example) or have a coffee and chat at some nice cafe when the weather is not so good. I am from Czech Republic and would love to meet moms from other countries. I lived in UK for 15 years now, but just recently move to Tooting bec, so don't know any local mums over here.
