From 10:00am to 12:00 tomorrow - Wednesday (26 January), mums are invited to come to St Wilfrids Parish Hall, Standish to come for a free knitting lesson and a coffee.
Anyone is welcome to come along and have a lesson in knitting, have a drink and chat to other mums.
The idea is to learn to knit a breast. Knitted breasts are used by midwives, health visitors and volunteers as a way of helping new mums learn about feeding.
The Breastfeeding team also asks that if you can't come but are a dab hand with the knitting needles they welcome donations of knitted breast. To download the pattern and get more information visit mymummydoes.rawdesignstudio.co.uk/local-resources/knit-a-breast/
Everyone is welcome and parking is available, but if you'd like more information call the Breastfeeding Team on 01942 481006.
