spa break - overnight stay recs

I fancy an overnight stay in a hotel plus spa treatments as a late pregnancy treat.

It's as much about some "me" time in peace and quiet as it is the spa treatments. I haven't had a night away from DS 2.5 since he was born apart from when I did the Moonwalk and I crave a morning lie-in and silence.

Any recommendations? Norton House Hotel seems the best bet so far for a nice enough stay plus spa without getting into ridiculous sums of money. I'd rather not travel too far away from Edinburgh

Stobo in the borders? Or the Old Course at St Andrews. Both about an hour's drive and v. nice indeed.

Hi - new to this but thought I could help, not sure if Dalhousie Castle (near Edinburgh) or Troon Marine (near Glasgow) would be of interest to you? Both can be seen on www.luxury-spa-breaks.com/spa-hotels/scotland

THanks Molly but I read your message too late since I've just booked Norton House. Really excited!!

Hope you have a great time - very jealous. May be worth looking at them for the future as I told a friend about them and they found them to be brilliant.

Enjoy Norton House

When are you going?

And Shock that your ds is 2.5!! How did that happen!???

And congrats on your pregnancy Smile[broody]

Hi mawbroon I'll be there mid April (once my mat leave has started so I'll be almost 37 weeks gone!)

DS is coming up for 2.9 now. I don't know where the time went and he seems to grow up noticeably from week to week.

Am I correct in thinking you had a #2 recently? if so then many congrats. Hope all well with you.

Yes, I had #2, but it wasn't so recent either! His first birthday is next week which I find very hard to believe!

Hope you have a fab pamper day Smile
