Sorry, no idea about Alma School. I suggest you look at Ofsted reports online. The idea of choice is all academic really however, schools are so oversubscribed you'll most likely be offered a place in your nearest school. Unless you're choosing a church school and genuinely attend the linked church regularly, places remaining after siblings are allocated on distance to the school. However, there's such a lack of places that I've heard of several families without school places for their children starting September 2011.
