my partner and our two girls aged almost 3 and 18 months are thinking of moving to tw from folkestone. there is so much to think about! what are the nurseries like? how expensive are they? although i dont need to use them as child care while i work as i work round their dad! are there many groups going on where i could take the girls and meet people? as i wont know anyone! we would be right in the centre with no garden so is there any nice parks and things to do outside when the weather is good? be lovely to get some tips and suggestions! ...........

Hello,

I am in the same boat - we are thinking of moving to the area but know no one and nothing about the area!

We have a one year old.

Tunbridge Wells has lots of parks and massess going on for families. I can really recommend it to anyone. Almost all the primary schools are excellent and it is generally a very friendly place. If you need anymore specific information let me know.

Can't beat hiring a pedalo and having an ice cream in Dunorlan Park on a summer's afternoon.
