Any Dutch (speaking) mums in or around Brighton?

Hi,

I am a Dutch mum of 2; my DD is 7 months old and my DS 2 years and 7 months. We moved to the South coast from East Anglia late summer; would like it if my children could speak Dutch not only with us, but also with other children or adults!

Anyone?

I am married to a Dutch guy and I have a son who is 2 and 7 months as well! He speaks both english and Dutch. Sorry, my understanding of Dutch is limited. Bet they can have some fun babbling Dutch words to each other : )

Hoi meisje,
Good to see there are other Dutchies out there. I'm also from Holland and live in Hove with British/American partner. Our ds is 3 in july and dd is 15 months. Am keen for kids to grow up bilingual and would love for them to have some Dutch playmates! Am pretty new to MN so will find out about priv msging etc..

Hi Meisje,

Am coming to this a bit late as I see last postings were in February but I am also the mum of a Dutch/English 20 month old son and another on the way. My husband is Dutch and we live in Belgium right now but moving back to Preston Park area in October. Would love the kids to mix with other bilingual Dutch/English and also meet other mums - might also manage to practice a bit of Dutch too! If you start a regular group in Brighton/Hove area please let me know. Not sure how to do the private message as just joined mn this evening!
