We have moved to Raynes Park fairly recently and were wondering whether anyone could recommend a family friendly church (we have to dds 3 and 8mths)

The Dundonald Church - I've not been to any services but the playgroup is lovely and is clearly a very family focused church. Maybe it's the cake they serve which swung it for me...!

The one at the junction of Cottenham Park Road and the Ridgeway (the name escapes me at the moment - it's oppsite Kings College playing fields). Not my church but I have friends who go and really like it.

The above church is called Christchurch I think.
Martin Way Methodist Church is nice. Lots of things going on by all accounts.

St Matthew's is lovely, but the vicar left last year (moved on to next parish) so it is currently without a vicar. I expect a new one will arrive soon.
They have a toddler group attached to the church, on a Monday morning, held in the church hall.
At services there is a creche at the back (parents need to look after children) for under 18 monthers, and Sunday groups for children at the same time as the service.

I've heard Christchurch is good, and the vicar, Richard, has a family so is very understanding and family focussed.

These are both CofE churches.

I go to St Matthews and I really like it. Quite small congregation-wise. Fr Stuart left last October, but a new vicar will be present from April. Everyone is quite nice. I have a 12-year old and a 2-year old (daughters). My name's Tonia if you ever decide to visit. x
