New to Mumsnet- hello!

Hello all, just thought I'd introduce myself, just discovered Mumsnet and it looks great!

I'm 29 and I've lived in Glasgow 5 years, I have DD who's 9 and my wee boy is 6....can't believe they are both that old :)

I'm currently studying towards a psychology degree which takes up a lot of my time, but am interested in getting to know you all and maybe coming along to one of the meet-ups.

My ds is 10 but I am 49 - so a wee bit older than you! We're a friendly bunch but not that good at orgnaising meetups.

At the Scottish Christmas meet-up (over in Edinburgh) there was talk of organsing a meet-up at Livingston Designer Village (or whatever it is called) some time in february, although I've not seen anything more concrete (unless I've missed it).

Keep an eye out on here and also on the Meet-up board.

Hi Prettybird, nice to 'meet' you! I'll keep an eye out for meet-ups, I can't wait for the warmer weather for park outings etc

(I'm not even sure what Livingston designer village is lol, I shall need to check it out!)
