Swimming lessons needed

I am quite new to Cardiff and have a 14 month old I would like to start swimming. Can anyone suggest a good pool or organisation that does lessons? I live in Cathays and have transport.

I know that the International pool in the bay offer swimming classes for little ones at this age.

There are classes run at Radyr Comp on a Sunday but not sure who ran them. I'm sure the school could tell you.

The pool in Pentwyn does a pre swimming class for non swimmers. Currently on a saturday morning (I was told) but you have to register on a certain day to get a place.

Stingray swim school is great, although i don't know at what age they start, my child only started at the age of 4, now swimming really well at 8.

Baby Splash do lessons at Esporta gym on Ocean Way - they were excellent with ds2.

We've tried 2 types of classes - Aqua Babies (fab for little ones but a tad on the expensive side @ £10 per lesson) and International Pool, Cardiff Bay. My son is 18 months old and has been doing swimming lessons at the International Pool for a few months now. It's just the 8.30am start on a Saturday is a bit of a killer!
