New to Rusthall

Hi I've recently moved to Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells with my boyfriend and 5month old son, all the way from Devon. Not been to this area before now and am a full time mum as my partner works all hours in a bar. would like to find out about local groups for mums and babys so i can get out and meet some people! Jen

Welcome to T/W! See if you can get hold of a copy of the Grapevine magazine as this holds details of all Mother & Baby groups in the local area.....you should be able to get hold of a copy at the library or sports centre..Hope this helps

There's loads of mums and babies classes and sessions in TW. There's a bumps and babies group on a Tuesday aft at the Camden Centre in town - it can be a bit crazy but it's a mix of people who know each other from NCT groups and new mums and bubs who just turn up. I've been there on my own a few times and it seems easy enough to get chatting to someone.

Or there are free music sessions for parents and babies at the library - and the Little Forest Children's Centre runs a 'baby and you' course and other things you could go along to - all ways of meeting other new mums. Think there's a children's centre in Rusthall too that might do similar things.

Hi: there's a very nice mums and tots group in Groombridge village hall on monday mornings, just a couple of miles west of you. Hope you see this, as it's a bit late!
