Hi,anybody from the Crewe area on here? I love mumsnet, spend hours on this website(its very addictive).Mum to 2 dds, 2 and 4 months, would love to chat to others in my area! My circle of friends are mostly gay men, so dont really get to have mummy chats with anyone!

Hiya, just registered today and was wondering the same thing. I am in Crewe and am a mum to a 9 month old little girl. My small circle of friends all have teenage kids now so it would be nice to chat to local mums with younger children.

Must just be us two then lol! Do you go to any groups or anything with your little girl, I have made it my New Years resolution to try and meet other mums, the only place I really go with my two are to Funsters where my 2 year old can rum wild! I have registered with netmums as well today they seem to have a few from Crewe on there. Going by your name I take it your Irish, I was born in Dublin and moved to Crewe when I was 5.

I haven't been to any groups yet but I've decided that for my sanity I need to get out and about and meet some mums and it's about time my little girl started socialising. There don't seem to be a lot of baby/toddler groups in Crewe though apart from the childrens centres. I am on netmums too, definitely seem to be a few more Crewe mums on there. Not Irish btw, it's just my surname, I always confuse people with that.

Hi ladies, not sure if you'll read this as seems you wrote a while ago...
I just registered today, as will be moving out towards Crewe/Nantwich in a couple of months.
I have a 6 month old boy, and worked really hard to make some mum friends, and getting to classes etc.. where i live now, so will be essentially starting again when we move- oh well!
Oh and I am Irish btw, moved here from Dublin couple of years ago!

Just spotted this thread, I don't check out he local pages much.

Thought you might all like this new group for Mums and Mums-to-Be which has just started in Crewe.

It meets on a Wednesday morning and is run by Claire.

The details are here. Smile

Hi, I run a community website for mums in Nantwich here: wwwlovenantwich.com with an events calendar with an at-a-glance guide to many of the baby and toddler groups taking place in the town. There's lots happening for mums in the town and I can help put you in touch with many other mums to socialise with or without the little ones.
