Hello there,
Does anyone know much about the primary schools in Bishop's Stortford? I have lived in the town for a few years but I'm not from the area so any honest feedback would be greatly appreciated as my three-year-old is due to start school later this year.
Anyone know much about Thorn Grove or Thorley Hill in particular? Good or bad comments welcome!

Many Thanks.

Sorry cant really help with Thorn Grove or Thorley Hill but Northgate is considered the best and Summercroft has just received an outstanding Ofsted report.

From friends can also recommend All Saints (C of E) and Manor Fields.

I dont really think any of the schools are considered "bad". We are very lucky with education in this neck of the woods Smile

St Andrew's in Much Hadham is also outstanding according to a very recent Ofsted report.

My son is 6 and goes to Thorly hill so is now in year 2 and has been there since nursery. It really is a good school only one complaint i have about the school which is sometimes they don't give you much notice for some events so my husband cant always get time off but i guess that is just our circumstance i would really recommend it the school meals are varied and quite nice(we had a trial before he joined reception) and not to expensive they have lots of things to encourage children such as cake sales. If you have other questions i will try to answer what i can feel free to ask.
