Alive Gym has a creche. (near Waitrose).

Does LA fitness too?

Have you tried the council run gyms? Ours in Peacehaven/Lewes/Seaford do supervised sessions that cost £1:50 and they are in the mornings. They won't feed or change your baby but does mean you can go to class or into gym. I'm waiting for my esporta contract to run out so that I can change gyms and do this. Esporta is too expensive and the creche is too.

Try Alive gym off Western Road. They run a good range of classes and the creche is open from 9 until 4pm weekdays. It costs £3 for one hour and my daughter has been going there since she was four months old. She loves it!

I am setting up classes to try and solve this problem. I am a physiotherapist and setting up motor development classes for pre-school children. For the mums I am doing mother and baby and mother and toddler exercise classes. Circuit classes of cardiovascular and core stability exercises where your toddler joins in. They will be good fun, relaxed but challenging and best of all no childcare costs plus free tea or coffee when you have finished. Classes are in Worthing.
