Postnatal Depression Research Could You Help?

Do you have a baby under the age of 1 year?
Are you experiencing postnatal depression or low mood?
Would you be willing to give an hour of time?

I am a Trainee Clinical Psychologist who is looking into ways to help mothers cope better and wondered if you maybe wiling to take part in some research giving an hour of your time to answer some questions.

It would involve meeting with myself and answering some questions about how you feel, followed by undertaking some problem solving exercises. There is no right or wrong answer I am just looking into the way mothers of small babies solve problems and if there are differences in the way mothers with and without postnatal depression do this. This meeting can be either at your home or in a neutral location such as a health centre.

The research aims to help mothers who suffer with low mood and depression in the future.

If you are interested in the possibility of taking part please contact me on the details below. To thank you for considering the research there will be a prize draw with the chance of winning one of six £20 gift vouchers.

Many thanks
Alex
