If you just sit and watch the home page, the cakes look GREAT!

I've been a few times - in the evening and day time - food is very nice and they are also very child friendly

Thanks Paarrp. Its interesting to hear that they are child friendly, as the pictures on the website made me feel like I couldn't step inside with a child!

They wanted to set up a saturday morning club type thing where in the back room they'd set up crafts etc which would mean that you could then relax with a cuppa and paper whilst they played - don't know if this has started yet though?

Yes, I can confirm that Jardine has started a 'CUP CAKE KIDS CLUB' on Saturday mornings from 10am. There is only space for 12 children so the event will only go ahead with pre-booking. The idea is that the children sit 'round the corner' to their grown up and for £3.30 they have a gorgeous animal CUP CAKE as well as a steamer (hot frothy milk!) with a syrup of their choice. The children feel independent and entertained and the grown ups can chill. Currently there is no breakfast menu (just coffee and cake, but oh my, the cakes!) and also no newspapers but Jardine is still very new and finding it's way.
