Getting cabin fever on day 2 of school closures

Only on day 2 and all getting very bored. I have dd#5 and 14 month old and not keen on going out in the car. Have been to local park sledging, but not much fun for wee one.

Have put up the Christmas tree to amuse dd and done lots of painting and dvd, but I'm getting cabin fever.

Scratching my head for tomorrow, we usually go to different parks or just out and about. What is everyone else doing?

going to FOPP and buying stuart little 1, 2 and 3 for a fiver...

Only 3 for a fiver at Fopp thats disapointing.
I'm afraind that if I venture to Byres Rd dd will plead to go to Sentry Box where we will debate big toy/wee toy until I give up and buy a medium toy!
On second thoughts we could spend ages in there debating

Day 2! You sappy west coasters. We had a week of school closures last week, and no handy byres road. The only excitement was the SPAR restocking. We did a lot of sledging; ds (14 mo) quite likes it; and attempts at igloo building. Mostly we then hung about each others houses eating cake.

Bad form to crash a local thread, isn't it?! Sorry. I have Fopp envy, if that's any consolation.

I can't help, took little one to partick today and got stuck waiting ages on a bus back and got tutted at by some cows. I ended up in tears in partick train station, was last straw. Cabin fever not good. Where are the gritter people? Even Dumbarton road is terrible, never seen it like that before. If its bad then what the hell are the Bearsden roads like?! Its uaully like the antartic when it snows there, no gritters or anything.

oh GOD mine are still off... this is not fun any more.
