I know a friend PAID a student to queue for 2 days to get her daughter (age 3) into some toddler gym class in Islington. Mental. Don't toddlers just DO gym of their own accord? My kids just leap on and off stuff everywhere they go. Why pay for it?

Right, well, I live in a small flat, and Monday to Friday I work and I'd like to take my nearly 4 yr old DS somewhere where they have proper gym equipment since he loves jumping around the furniture!

Well there is a place near or in Kentish Town called Treetops I think. Not sure exactly where. It's good and presumably much cheaper than the class with the two day queue. Mine jump around the furniture too.

Thanks, that sounds good. What goes on there? Is it a soft play area?

Treetops at Talacre Sports Centre is softplay.
During the week the have toddler gymnastics (where kids can just run around) and preschool gymnastics classes (more structured). Unfortunately, don;t think they run them on weekend.
However, they do preschool football on Saturday mornings, which sounds fun.

Eek - I'm not sure my DS even understands that he is supposed to use his feet for football, not his hands.

I'll look into it tho, maybe try one Saturday.
